I’m now listed on the UO CIS Alumni page. I would look at that in early 2005 and it seemed so far off. My band Ninth Moon Black just had a self titled cd come out on Forgotten Empire Records. Please support music by buying it and checking us out! We also just got back from a west coast tour with Germany’s BLACKWAVES, and you can check a simple photoblog I threw together of the tour here. Having graduated from the University of Oregon last December, my job hunt had me searching San Francisco to Portland. Several interviews, a couple of offers, then to my surprise I found a place where I would fit in nicely in Eugene, and accepted the position with MoonShadow E-Commerce, Inc. as a developer. Like mootools? Looking for a simple animated tree menu? I made one. Last month at work, we released the first version of an educational flash game for a university class called the New Media Institute. The project, of which i was the co-developer, makes use of a few interesting technologies such as the CakePHP MVC framework, amf-php, a MySQL database for saving users’ game progress while playing, and was written entirely in the relatively new [and much more robust] Actionscript 3.0. Due to copywrite restrictions, we had to remove much of the internal media content in the game for the demo version, but here is a link to it for you to check out. I have added my final paper that I wrote in college for Artificial Intelligence class, titled “Philosophy of Consciousness and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence” and you can read it here as well as download the pdf.
